Overview
The Project 30-bis destroyer 'Volevoy' was built at Plant No. 199 named after the Leninist Komsomol in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. It was laid down in March 1951, launched in September, and commissioned in December of the same year. In February 1959, together with three other Project 30-bis destroyers, it was transferred to the Indonesian Navy, receiving the name Siliwangi. A total of eight ships of this type were transferred to the Indonesian Navy.
