What a build is made of
A finished build is four things stacked on one hull: upgrades in the ship's modernization slots, a commander with skills bought out of a 21-point budget, signal flags, and camouflage. The planner lets you set all four and shows the resulting ship stats updating as you go, so you can see what a slot actually buys you instead of reading percentages off a tooltip.
Reading the stat panel
The panel shows final values, not deltas — the number next to reload is what the gun will actually do with everything you have selected applied. Percentage modifiers in this game multiply against the base value rather than each other, so two 5% reload upgrades are worth less together than 10%, and the panel already accounts for that.
Slots are exclusive: choosing one upgrade in a slot rules out the alternatives, which is where most of the real decisions in a build live.
Saving and sharing
Builds can be exported as an image, which is the practical way to drop one into a clan Discord or a forum post without asking people to reproduce your slot-by-slot choices from a list. The underlying ship, upgrade and skill data is the same dataset the rest of the site uses and is refreshed with every game patch.
