Overview
In 1921–22, several variants of a modernization project for the unfinished battlecruiser Kinburn of the Izmail class were developed. The ship's design was to be improved, taking into account the experience of the World War. The main difference from the original project would have been the installation of twin turrets with 406 mm guns, and some variants also suggested enhanced armor protection.
