Overview
Hypothetical development of Japanese heavy cruisers, which involves the installation of 60-caliber German 210 mm guns. Technical cooperation between Germany and Japan included the exchange of blueprints and technological charts for advanced models of equipment and armaments. This project differs from its predecessor (the 1941 heavy cruiser design) by its enhanced armor and auxiliary armament, primarily anti-aircraft weaponry.
