Overview
One of the projects studied in 1918 by the designers of the Naval Construction Administration of the German Naval Staff. The ship corresponded to the concept of a fast battleship, although it was initially designated as a battlecruiser on the drawing. The project envisaged armament of four main battery turrets and a displacement of 45,000 tons. The designers returned to the half-bow ship scheme, which had been abandoned during the design of the Derfflinger-class battlecruisers.
