Overview
The experimental battleship Raijū was built under conditions of utmost secrecy at the naval shipyard in Kure as part of the Alliance's program to create new-generation universal combat platforms. The ship's name refers to a mythical creature from Japanese folklore associated with lightning and storms. This image was reflected in the vessel's concept: Raijū was conceived as a strike combat unit capable of delivering crushing blows with terrifying power, reacting swiftly to threats, and withstanding attacks even from submarines thanks to enhanced torpedo protection.
