Overview
A destroyer ordered in July 1939 as a Type 1936B ship, and in October re-ordered under the Type 1936A (Mob). In June 1940, due to a shortage of materials, construction was canceled, but in December, it was resumed. In February 1941, the ship's construction was finally canceled. If this ship had been completed as a fleet AA destroyer, twin 105 mm universal gun mounts could have been used as the main caliber. Such mounts were planned for the ship under the Flottentorpedoboot 1944 project.
