Overview
'Oleg' became the fourth and last armored cruiser of the 'Bogatyr' class. During the Russo-Japanese War, the ship joined the Second Pacific Squadron, as part of which it moved to the Far East and participated in the Battle of Tsushima. 'Oleg' suffered heavy damage and, together with other cruisers, was interned in Manila, returning to the Baltic after the war. During World War I, the ship participated in the operations of the Baltic Fleet's cruiser detachment. The cruiser 'Oleg' was sunk on the night of June 17-18, 1919, in the port of Kronstadt by a British torpedo boat.
