The German light cruiser Nürnberg was built in Kiel, participated in the Spanish Civil War and World War II. In 1945, it surrendered while in the port of Copenhagen and was then transferred to the USSR as reparations, where it received the name 'Admiral Makarov.' It served in the 32nd Cruiser Division, then in the 28th Training Ship Division.
