Overview
HMS London, the lead ship of the second series of County-class cruisers, served as the flagship of the 1st Cruiser Squadron before World War II. During the war, London participated in the hunt for Bismarck and the escort of Arctic convoys. After undergoing repairs in 1943, the ship was transferred to the Eastern Fleet, and after the war, it served on the China Station.
