Overview
In December 1941, TsKB-17 came forward with an initiative proposal for a project of a small mass-produced destroyer. It was assumed that such ships would be built at shipbuilding plants in the Volga basin and, upon completion, would be transferred to the North and Baltic via inland waterways. In April 1943, the design bureau presented the Main Staff with a tactical-technical assignment developed by the bureau itself for the destroyer. According to the presented destroyer project, the caliber of artillery armament increased to 130 mm. However, the project did not receive further development, and in 1945, work on it was discontinued.
