Overview
A Leytenant Ilin-class destroyer, originally built for the Imperial Russian Navy and taken into service by the Soviet Navy during the Russian Civil War. After being captured by the British during an operation in the Baltic Sea, the ship was transferred to the newly formed Estonian Navy. In 1933, she was sold to Peru and renamed Almirante Villar. As part of the Peruvian Navy, the destroyer took part in the war with Ecuador in 1941 and was involved in patrolling operations during World War II. The ship was finally decommissioned in 1954.
