Tonijn
The last of the four Dolfijn-class submarines, the first domestic submarines built for the Royal Netherlands Navy after World War II. Their hulls consisted of three separate pressure hulls, allowing them to dive deeper and with greater stability than previous submarines. The class formed the core of the Dutch submarine force during the Cold War. Tonijn herself was decommissioned in January 1991 and is now a museum ship.
